We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Business Development Manager to join our team at iWork Furniture. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales growth by identifying new business opportunities, building strong client relationships, and expanding our market presence in the office furniture industry. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent communication skills and a passion for delivering value to clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Call & qualify inbound 82B leads within 10 minutes
- Understand project requirement (model, quantity, usage, timeline)
- Conduct showroom meetings & site visits when required
- Share catalogues & structured pricing
- Prepare and send professional quotations
- Strong disciplined follow-up until closure
- Close deals & collect advance payments
- Maintain daily CRM updates
- Manage orders end-to-end until delivery handover
- Achieve monthly revenue
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelorโs degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in business development or sales, preferably in the furniture, interior design, or B2B sector.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Strong networking abilities and experience working with corporates, architects, or interior designers.
- Ability to work independently and as part of dynamic team.
- Familiarity with the office furniture industry is an advantage.
- Proficiency in Office Suites and CRM software.
- Willingness to travel within Bangalore for client meetings, vendor coordination, and site visits.
