Job Description
We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Business Development Manager to join our team at iWork Furniture. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales growth by identifying new business opportunities, building strong client relationships, and expanding our market presence in the office furniture industry. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent communication skills and a passion for delivering value to clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and generate new business opportunities by reaching out to corporates, architects, interior designers, and project management consultants.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure repeat business and long-term partnerships.
- Develop and present tailored proposals and portfolios showcasing iWork Furniture’s product offerings to meet client needs.
- Collaborate with factory team to ensure timely delivery and installation of orders.
- Conduct market research to identify trends, competitors, and potential areas for business expansion.
- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets, contributing to the company’s goal.
- Represent iWork Furniture at industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to enhance brand visibility.
- Provide regular reports on sales performance, market feedback, and business development activities to the management.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Marketing, or a related field. MBA is a plus.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in business development or sales, preferably in the furniture, interior design, or B2B sector.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Strong networking abilities and experience working with corporates, architects, or interior designers.
- Ability to work independently and as part of dynamic team.
- Familiarity with the office furniture industry is an advantage.
- Proficiency in Office Suites and CRM software.
- Willingness to travel within Bangalore for client meetings, vendor coordination, and site visits.
